Leucojum aestivum ‘Gravetye Giant’ (summer snowflake) is a whimsical white flowering bulb that arrives in the spring. Summer snowflake is a wonderful plant to include in your garden while the rest of your summer perennials are still growing.

Commonly called a summer snowflake, this bulb blooms several weeks after the spring snowflake (Leucojum vernum) and usually goes dormant by summer. It has beautiful dark grassy green leaves which form an upright vase-shaped foliage around the flower stem. The flowers are white, nodding, bell-shaped, and its petals are tipped with a green speck.
