hosta ‘Halcyon’
Hosta ‘Halcyon’ (Hosta ‘Halcyon’) is one of the best and most popular hosta cultivars since it retains its blue leaf color longer than most other blue hostas.
This shade-loving perennial has flat, spear-shaped leaves that grow into 14” mounds that shade out any weeds below. Tall racemes of pale blue flowers rise a foot above the foliage in summer. It grows to be a compact medium sized mound, making it perfect for small gardens.
