Guided Pollinator Walk
August 16 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join scientists from the Nature Conservancy in Lurie Garden for a chance to see and learn about the various pollinators that thrive in the garden. We’ll be on the look-out for various types of bees, wasps, butterflies, beetles, and other species. Our guides will help us get a close look at them, teach us their names, and tell us about their behavior.
The walk will take place mid-day when insects tend to be most active. Dress appropriately for the weather, including a hat and sunscreen. Short-range binoculars might be helpful. Children are welcome. This event is free and open to the public.
